Fujikura's image fiber is silica based coherent image fiber. Numbers of silica cores are together with melted silica cladding, which composes a multi-core optical fiber. Those fibers are used for the image transmission of fiber scopes applications. The products described in the catalog are for VIS region applications. Fujikura's large core optical fibers are made of silica glass, thus have excellent transmission characteristics over the selected wavelength range, one is from UV to VIS, the other is from VIS to NIR. Fujikura's single-mode optical fiber with high temperature resistant acrylate coating protects the optical fiber up to 200°C (short term). The fiber is applied to harsh environments like Oil & Gas industry. Figure1 shows the results of attenuation variation in 200°C. LTC-01 is the special tool for removing loose tube without damage to the UV acrylate coated optical fiber inside the loose tube.

The ELCT series is the exclusive elctrodes for Fujikura fusion splicers. In order to preform Fujikura splicers properly and completely, the genuine electrodes shall be utilized. The ELCT series is supplued with a pair, for the anode and the cathode respectively.

The Fiber Holder, FH-70 series is exclusively used for Fujikura single and ribbon fiber Splicers. Fujikura　Fiber Holder System is developed to provide appropriate splicing work for several kinds of fibers, single fibers or fiber ribbons. The FH-70 series is supplied with a pair, for the left and the right respectively..
