FutureGuide®-Ace NEW ITU-T G.652.D (+ Reduced Attenuation and Bend Insensitive Complying with ITU-T G.657.A1)
Product code NJM4WX
Recent trends in optical fiber networks demand optical fibers having reduced attenuation to help long distance transmission and bend insensitiveness for harsh installation conditions. FutureGuide®-Ace is an enhanced fiber categorized as ITU-T G.652.D from Fujikura. It offers zero(low)-water peak attribute that enables all-band transmission and superior reduced-attenuation characteristics, while converging bend insensitiveness complying with ITU-T G.657.A1. Also the fiber ensures backward compatibility with all existing conventional networks based on G.652 fibers. FutureGuide®-Ace helps cable manufacturers to design cost-effective and aggressive higher fiber-count cable designs that assist telecom operators to plan for higher fiber density installations. Furthermore, reduced attenuation characteristics ensure longer transmission distance with less number of amplifiers and thus contributes to the reduction of total cost. FutureGuide®-Ace is suitable from long-haul to access networks of 40Gbps, 100Gbps and beyond.
- Reduced attenuation with zero(low)-water peak(superior to conventional ITU-T G.652.D fibers)
- Improved macrobend performance exceeding ITU-T G.652.D (complying with ITU-T G.657.A1)
- Full Compatibility with existing G.652 fibers

Fujikura PANDA fibers have a superior optical property in polarization-maintaining because of the symmetrical accuracy in cross section and the uniform constitution of stress applying parts. Based on Fujikura's fiber technology, PANDA fibers have a universal quality with not only low polarization-crosstalk and low attenuation but also the broad suitability for fusion-splice or optical connector.

Fujikura's image fiber is silica based coherent image fiber. Numbers of silica cores are together with melted silica cladding, which composes a multi-core optical fiber. Those fibers are used for the image transmission of fiber scopes applications. The products described in the catalog are for VIS region applications. Please contact us for customized products for UV or NIR region applications.

Fujikura's large core optical fibers are made of silica glass, thus have excellent transmission characteristics over the selected wavelength range, one is from UV to VIS, the other is from VIS to NIR. Moreover with its large core size it also can transmit high energy density of laser beam, which is demanded for applications of laser processing, laser therapy, optical sensors and spectral analyzers of weak light.
